Customer Pick-Up Guidelines
Pick-ups can be scheduled Monday through Saturday from 10:00a.m. To 6:00 p.m. Customers must clear pickup through the office. We provide packaging and loading service at the warehouse, but it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO INSPECT MERCHANDISE prior to loading in vehicle. Suburban Contemporary Furniture is not responsible for any damage that occurs to merchandise, vehicle, person(s) or property during loading/unloading or in transit.
Your salesperson does not set a specific delivery time. An estimated time can be requested and we do try to comply, however, the delivery department controls the routing and timing and they will contact you for an appointment. We do offer instant delivery at an up-charge cost depending on where the delivery is located.
We will begin processing your delivery two (2) days prior to the delivery date. Because of this no cancelations or changes can be accepted during this two (2) day period. Prior to this time, changes can be made by calling 405-946-4387.
Local Delivery: If your purchase is to be delivered, it must be paid in full or financing arrangements made by 2:00 p.m. two (2) days before delivery.
Out-of-Town Delivery: If your purchase is to be delivered, it must be paid in full or financing arrangements made by 2:00pm two (2) days before delivery. PLEASE, do not call the day of delivery; your ticket is out of file and being processed. Don’t worry; the delivery service will call by 11:00 a.m. At this time you will be given approximate delivery time. We primarily deliver in Oklahoma and the boarding states of Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri and New Mexico. Deliveries which are further require special pricing and must be scheduled by our deliver department.
Who Can Accept Delivery
We prefer that you personally accept your delivery. If this is not possible, one of the following may be an alternative:
- Have a neighbor, relative or your apartment manager receive your furniture for you.
- Our delivery associated can call you up to 45 minutes prior to delivery so you can meet our crew at the delivery address.
Please be aware that the person accepting delivery for you is responsible for:
- Being at the location during the set time block
- Inspecting the furniture
- Signing for receipt of the furniture
Under no circumstances will a Suburban delivery associate enter a delivery location unescorted.
“What If My Furniture Doesn’t Fit?”
It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the furniture they have purchased will fit into the desired location at the delivery address. Suburban is unaware of any narrow halls, tight doors or turns, restrictive stairways or elevators which would cause the delivery crew to be unable to place your purchase where desired. If we are unable to complete delivery, the following deductions will be made from your refund.

Contemporary Modern Affordable Furniture, Accessories, Lamps, Pictures & Mirrors
If you do not feel that the merchandise you purchased is appropriate in your home, you may return the items for reselection, credit, or refund. Suburban Contemporary Furniture must be notified within 3 days after you received your stock merchandise. There is a 10% restocking charge on stock items or items held more than 3 days.
Exclusion: Delivery and Pick-Up Fees
If you originally had your merchandise delivered and wish the merchandise picked up, you will be charged for:
- The original delivery and
- A pick up charge equivalent to the original delivery charge
If you return your merchandise using your own vehicle, you will not be assessed a pick-up charge. However, you will be assessed the original delivery fee, and merchandise will be inspected for damage.
Exclusion: Fabric Protection - Once fabric protection has been applied to the merchandise, it is not refundable.
Exclusion: Special Order - In most cases, factories will not cancel special orders. As a result all special order sales are final and the 3 day return/cancelation policy does not apply.
Special Order Merchandise
When you place a special order with us you are given an estimated arrival date. This estimate is based on normal delivery intervals. The actual delivery interval may be longer or shorter than the estimate. We have no control over our suppliers operations and rely on their information. We will contact you as soon as your merchandise arrives at our warehouse to arrange delivery to you. We warrant all furniture that we sell to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of one year. Excluding merchandise sold. “AS IS” & “CLOSE OUT” During this period we will at our option repair or replace any furniture containing a manufacturing defect. This warranty applies to the original buyer and to furniture that has received normal use and proper maintenance.
We reserve the right to inspect the furniture at your home, and if possible, to make repairs there. Upholstery fabric is not warranted except to be in proper condition upon delivery.
